Richmond, Contra Costa County
Richmond has about 32 miles of shoreline on San Francisco and San Pablo bays, more than any other city in the Bay Area. The Bay Trail follows long stretches of it, from the marina to Point Pinole. Point Richmond, the original town center, keeps its early 1900s brick buildings, and a ferry links the waterfront to San Francisco.
